          The Law on Foreigners and International Protection Law numbered 6458 was published in the Official Gazette of 11/4/2013 numbered 28615, and the Directorate General of Migration Management under the Ministry of Interior was established with the adoption of the Law.The Directorate General of Migration Management will implement migrated-related policies and strategies, ensure coordination among relevant administrations and organizations, execute the activities and actions related to foreigners’ entry, stay in, exit and removal from Turkey as well as on international protection, temporary protection and protection of the victims of human trafficking.

          The issues related to entry to Turkey, visas and residence permits are usually required professional help, with a notary drafted power of attorney your lawyer can take care of your issues and paper works.

          Obtaining a residence permit is obligatory for the foreigners who will stay in Turkey more than 90 days or the time allowed by visa or visa exemption. From now on, your residence permit documents will be sent to your addresses. Thus, it is essential to declare your full address accurately during application for residence permit. If you would like to extend your residence permit, you must file your application at the governorship of your place of residence.

          For residence permit make sure you fill all forms with valid information. Goverment will reach you by the informations you give. Another important part is filling online forms correctly( due to comlicated forms some mistakes may occour and they might prevent you to get residence permit.)
